SENSORY SUITE
Housed in a separate section within the Play Centre, the Sensory Suite is a dedicated area for children and adults with special and additional needs.
Available on a pre-booked basis, it is for individual or group use. Made up of three areas it offers a quiet area for Carers and Parents to relax and the two Sensory Rooms are equipped with an array of the latest technological equipment including the magic carpet, bubble tubes, fibre optic harness, water projectors, fluorescent line light mirror, mood lighting and much more, all designed to foster active participation and exploration of the user in his or her environment.

DROP-IN SESSIONS EVERY SATURDAY & SUNDAY
Every Saturday and Sunday Drop-in Sessions are available. The £7.50 entry fee for all users is for one hour in the Sensory Suite and you can then stay and enjoy the Play Centre and the Big Top Cafe for as long as you like. Accompanying parent/carer £1.50 charge.
These sessions are open to everyone and you will be sharing with other users. For exclusive use please contact Bob on 01457 865650.
PARENT & TOTS SESSIONS
Special one hour sessions are held every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for parent, baby and tots, These sessions are on a pre-booked basis as places are limited.
Wednesday: 11.00am £6.00
Thursday: 2.00pm £6.00
Prices are for one parent/carer and one baby or tot. Additional parents £1.50 each and additional children £4.50. All are welcome to stay and play in the Zone after the session and to use the cafe facilities.
The Sensory Suite is available for Exclusive Hire - book with Reception to reserve your time and day.
SENSORY ROOM
The Sensory Room equipment is fully controllable by the users through the employment of advanced control systems.
Mirror Ball System, Interactive Bubble Tube, Fibre Optic Harness,
Pin Spot and Colour Wheel Lights, Mood Lighting and Water Projector.
DARKROOM
Passive Bubble Tubes, Acrylic Mirror and Curtains, Fibre Optic Carpet,
Fibre Optic Harness, Fluorescent Line Lite Mirror, Line Lite Wand and Fluorescent Roller Shaker.
A sound system is installed throughout the three rooms in the Suite, each having its own music system and a variety of CDs from relaxing peace music to the sounds of nature and tranquillity are provided - you are welcome to bring your own favourite CD or I-pod if you wish.
All areas are easily accessible for wheelchairs; dedicated separate accessible toilet facilites, changing room and hoist.
